This is not a manual.

It is not another book that promises to fix you.

It is the quiet return to the instrument you already are.

I have spent years in studios watching the same mystery

unfold: a performer who is present becomes dangerous

in the best possible way. Breath, memory, walk, stillness,

space — these are not techniques layered on top of the body.

They are the body remembering itself. Everything else

is decoration.

The Seven Cycles of You grew out of that room. Seven

movements, each one building on the last. You begin with

the breath and the Quiet Place. You end somewhere you

cannot name in advance, because the work is no longer

about the work — it is about you. The method asks for

practice, not consumption. One cycle a week. A notebook

nearby. The writing itself becomes part of the practice.

It was forged for actors, but the language is larger than

the stage. Directors, dancers, writers — anyone who must

stand in front of a blank page or an empty room and make

something true — the same currents apply. The vocabulary

simply needs a small translation.

It is for peaceful warriors with a passionate curiosity

and a zest for life.

That is you.

This is the book of you.

The theatre was only the first laboratory.

The rest of the laboratory is wherever you decide to begin.
